had a super comfy stay at mays cottage! the location was perfect for me since i was close to skypark. everything was clean and tidy, really cozy vibe. breakfast was massive and delicious with fresh fruit and nice bread. the owners seemed really proud of their place, which was cool.
the only downside was some road noise, but it didn’t really bother me. also, the place looked like a garage from the front, which was kinda odd at first.

Mays Cottage has a wonderfully cozy vibe.
Unfortunately, my stay was not without challenges. The extra large bed we were promised turned out to be just a standard size, which definitely affected our comfort. We also struggled with the heating. the room was quite cold upon arrival, and we couldn't find any visible heater. Lastly, there was a lack of breakfast options as we hadn’t ordered in advance.

I loved staying at Mays Cottage. The breakfast was fantastic, much more than I could manage, featuring lovely fresh fruit and decent coffee. Zoe, the host, made sure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and comfortable seating area. I also appreciated the cleanliness. every corner felt tidy and well-kept. I did notice some minor road noise during the night, though it wasn't too bothersome. Inside, the heating was a bit tricky. it took a while to warm up upon my arrival. the comfort and hospitality made for a pleasant stay.

Charming stay with delightful hosts
Nestled near Petersfield, Mays Cottage boasts beautifully decorated rooms and an exceptional shower. The breakfast served in-room was a highlight, exceeded only by the warmth of the hosts.
Although conveniently located just off the main road, some traffic noise was noticeable, but it didn’t detract much from the experience.

Had a cozy stay! The shower was exceptional, and the continental breakfast was a nice touch. Just a heads up, we found the bed advertised as extra large to be more of a standard size, which was a bit disappointing.
